Therapy for pregnant women in Maryland
Since becoming pregnant, have you been feeling fear and anxiety? Maybe pregnancy is not what you expected, or perhaps you are flooded with worries about how you will be able to prepare for the baby, including delivery, and how to manage after the baby is born. You may carry guilt about feeling detached from your baby, or angry and irritable all the time. Perhaps the physical and hormonal changes seem endless.
Whatever it is that you are experiencing, you are beginning to notice disruptive effects across many facets of your life. For example:
Struggling to stay focused and productive at work and home
Impacting the way you manage day to day responsibilities
Affecting your relationships
Stressing about wrapping things up at home and work while preparing for this new season and all the logistics that come with it
Pregnancy is not what you expected.
There is joy to be found in this season of life.
It may feel difficult or impossible now, but you can feel hope and joy! And I can help you get there.
I will help through this process, tailoring each step to your unique needs and circumstances. FAQs

We will meet weekly at first for you to share with me your current struggles. We explore relevant topics from your past, and how they relate to what is happening now. We discuss ways to become more aware, in the moment, of your learned patterns and how to manage your feelings. Depending on your needs, therapy could be short term or longer term. Sometimes I will invite you to do a specific meditation in session, related to the issue at hand. Sometimes I will suggest a reading or journaling.
While I can’t make any guarantees, therapy will help you if you are looking to understand and create a different experience, together.
